Guyana Relief Fundraiser
To Our Friends, Supporters, Artists and Volunteers Who Attended Our Guyana Relief Fundraiser on Nov 17th, 2019:
We are truly humbled and honored by the love and support you showed. Your presence made an incredible statement – an unequivocal statement:
"You want to serve the underserved"
"You believe that there should be equality for all - especially for Women and the LGBTQ Community"
"You believe that none of our brothers and sisters should have to struggle to have three daily meals"
"No one should brave the brutal winter without a proper jacket/coat or footwear"
"Our community members afflicted with various forms of disability have the proper care and attention, especially in Guyana"
"Our seniors should be respected, loved, acknowledged; and feel that they matter”
Friends, we are taking measured steps to alleviate hunger amongst the most destitute, and to restore dignity to those that are being robbed of it. Poverty is a destructive force, but together, we can fight to combat it – one meal at a time, one article of clothing at a time. We cannot do this work alone. If you would like to join our fight, please contact us regarding volunteers opportunities.
This event was possible because of many community servants, who generously donated them time and talents.
